My Favorite author is C.S. Lewis. The library has 12 of his books.

1.) Allen County Public Library has workshops for people that want to produce their own show and to do that they need to contact someone by the name of Bob Ihrie. They also have events for kids like Justin Roberts is coming to the Fort Wayne main Library on November 7, 2008 to sing for the kids.

I think this one would work because i am related to so many people that be in to the government and my family is really smart and they could know what to do.

I chose this one because sometimes if i get bored , i would just start writing about random things and then i would end up making a story and then eventually i would have someone read it that i could trust because i dont want to get made fun of if i i did something wrong in the story or if it didnt make any sense.

Everyone has heard of the word “search,” and we use this word more than what we think we know. But we don’t know about the word is that it was used a while back and that it wasn’t an English word at first. The word “search” was used before any of us was born obviously.

The word “search” originated from the french language. The word “search” was first recorded  in the 1400’s. “Search” was once a noun and still is but now we consider it as a verb more than a noun because it sounds like an action verb. “Search” was first recorded in the English language around 1901, but we used the word “search” in English before it became a popular word. A phrase it was once used in the English language was “search me” and meant like a verbal shrug. In 1901, when the word “search” was recorded, that was when they used the term “search me.” The meaning of ”search” in the 1400’s meant, to go about, wander, traverse. Now the meaning of ”search” as a verb is, try to locate or discover,try to establish the existence of. The meaning of “search” has changed, but we still use the 1400’s translation but not as often as we do with the new meaning.

Now surprising, the word “search” has a different meaning because you would think that it would but it doesn’t. “Search” is just another one of those words that end up changing and we don’t know about it because we don’t take the time to research it. I know the word “search” is a common word, but it is a simple word that was just changed.

Handgun Permits Online

Handgun permits started in Fort Wayne,IN. It takes place in Fort Wayneand might go world wide or maybe just nation wide, but they are not sure if they want to pass this law.They aren’t sure how fast the news will spread in Indiana, and they are hopeing that it wont spread rapidly. A way that it might spread quickly is that is that when people find out,they might tell other people and that the news could go from person to person.

They don’t know just yet, but they think that a good time to pass this law would be when the United States calms down in crime rates. Many people can find ways to get a permit online. Steaphanie Gillum says,”People could go on there and they could probably lie about their ageand people wouldnt be there to checkit. I think it would shut-down.” Mason Ostrander says,”Probably a gun enthusiest would go online. ” People who would want to see the product would take the time to go online.

A person or owner would start the site because they probably don’t get the business that they need. A person would go online and buy a gun because they might use it for protection, or reasons that they don’t need a gun. The community might not have a good reaction with this. It might not help the community get stronger. It’s not the best actbut it might make it easier for others to renew their permits.

There are two types of customers that would buy a handgun from H&H firearms Inc. of Fort Wayne,Indiana: Those who have always been around handguns, and those who have never held a gun in their lives. A person does not have to have experience with a gun, but if a person has a criminal record, then they are not allowed to have a permit from H&H firearms. In wells county and miami county, they they are trying to set out a system that allows residents to apply for a handgun permit online. Indiana is the only state that allows lifetime handgun permits. The NRA expects all gun owners to follow whatever the state law requires , but some laws are very extreme. Anna Reibs quotes,” People who like guns would go online.” People can take classes to learn how to use the weapon they buy, but you don’t have to in Indiana. Before people can apply for a permit, they are required to take at least 10 hours of classes and 2 hours on a gun range. ” People don’t have to waste gas to go to a gun store,” Mason Ostrander . In Indiana gun laws, a weapon handlers experiance does not matter, as long as on has a valid ID and passes the criminal background check. The NRA law requires that a background check , which is in acordance, with federal laws, This permit will only allow a person to hold a gun on their person, and there is permit to carry a rifle. When a person gets their permit, they can purchase a gun the same day and take it home.

The NRA institute would not change the laws in Indiana. They beleive the Indiana state governmnt respects the law-abiding citizens. States are given points for catagories like”Deadly force not allowed to be a first resort in public” and “Authorized users only are able to operate handguns.” Out of 100 points, Indiana received 8, and California ranked 1st with 79 points. Ohio was ranked 20th place with 13 points. They fared a bit better than Indiana. The NRA expects gun owners to follow their state laws and what they require. The Supreme Court just repealed a 32-year gun ban for the District of Columbia in June. Peple with these permits can have agun in their homes but no on their person. Over the past several years, D.C. has often been known as the murder capitol of the country, despite the gun ban.

Last year, Fort Wayne police dep. reported firearms were used in 224 robberies , 69 aggravated assaults, and 21 homicides. They do not keep track of those crimes involved users with a gun permit. Last year, Fort Wayne police dep. issued 1,718 concealed-carry permits and of those, 1,059 were lifetime permits. The application for a lifetime permit is easy. Tjis new system makes life easier for sherrif’s offices, especially for understaffed departments. It is quicker and more accurate and should give both offices a less of a hassle. The online application would be easy, but it’s not a very good idea to offer handgun permits online. Alaska and Vermornt don’t require any kind of permit.

HOW?

-It wont really help the community. It might make it worse. But who knows?

-Thye community might not act real well about this. There might be a protest about it.

-The news might get spread quickly the more people find out about it.

     Baseball is a great game to use teamwork. A story about another on of my games goes somethin like this. I  was playing catcher I didn’t know either to throw the runner out at second or third base. I thought to myself, “should I either throw the ball to second base, because the runner for the other team, is the fastest runner on there team, or should I throw the ball to third base? What should I do? I know, throw the ball to third base because we need to get the lead runner out to win the game.”

     Three innings later, I was playing second base and there was a runner on first with one out. The ball was hit strait to me, and what I did was that I got the ball with my glove, threw the ball to the shortstop who ran to second to get the throw out, and then the shortstop took the ball with his bare hand and threw the ball to first base wich come to be a double play for the last two outs of the three that we needed and we got our chance to hit again to try to win the game.

     The game baseball is a great way to make new friends. Another story is when I was playing center field and we were losing by two runs and there was one out, and the batter hit the ball to me, and I caught it and the runner on second tried to tag up but once I got the ball, i knew that he was running to third base, and so I threw the ball to third base, and third baseman got the ball and tagged the runner out. THe umpire said “OUT,” and we got our last chance to hit the balll and try to win the game. we got the hits we needed and the score ended up being, 2-3, we won.

I was sitting there on the bench, just trying to think when the coach will put me in to play the game. When will he put me in? Will he even put me in the game? I don’t know, but something tells me that I did some thing really bad, and I don’t even know what I did. The coach knows that I love the sport baseball, but what he doesn’t know is that when I don’t get to play in a game, then I wont even go to any of the games or practices because I take the game seriously. Baseball has been a life sport to my past family and me. I don’t know why, but baseball is one of those sports that you can play for a long time and never get bored with it because there is so much action that involves in it. I have tried many sports like hockey, football, basketball, and even soccar. But to me, baseball is a sport that I will live with forever, even if I don’t make it to the pro’s, but I know I will because I have faith in myself and my family has faith in me.

I have been playing baseball for about twelve years now and I know there are some people that think baseball is a wimpy sport, and others think that it is a fun sport, but they would rather play a sport that they like best. I believe that people who don’t like baseball, really, actually like it. It’s just that they don’t want to admit that they do like the sport. Now, I have to agree because sometimes I feel embarrassed about playing baseball. Baseball is not a rough sport like football or hockey, and I respect that. Sometimes I want to remember that there are other sports that I can play, but I always think about baseball. Baseball is a sport that you cannot give up in but have fun and think about what is going to happen next.

Now my question’s were,” When will the coach put me in? Will he even put me in to play?” Well the answer to the question’s, I don’t know, but what I do know is that the coach’s son knows why I didn’t play. Now he wasn’t supposed to tell me, but I was able to get the answer out of him. The answer was that my attitude towards the game wasn’t very positive. The reason I didn’t have a positive attitude was because I wasn’t playing very well like I usually play. Now like I told you, you need to have a positive attitude and have fun and think about the next play. Baseball is a great game to play and is very interesting when you get to know how to play it, so sometime try it, trust me you will have a lot of fun but you will understand
